Mum of 7 year old boy with verbal dyspraxia.
"Having worked with Alice for 6 months I can highly recommend her. She made weekly speech therapy so much fun for my son who has verbal dyspraxia. He loved her weekly sessions and really connected well. Not only is Alice fun but also very professional. She knew exactly what speech therapy programme we needed to follow and how this would incorporate within his school literacy. The progress my son made in a short time was worth every penny and something I will also be grateful for."
Mum of 3 year old with language delay and disordered speech.
"I first contacted Alice to discuss my concerns for my child as he had limited speech. From our initial meeting, Alice demonstrated her friendly, calm professional and positive attitude. We worked together as a team over a number of months completing activities which helped his development. Alice continually surprised my child with different fun activities to do and managed to keep his attention so much so that he did not even realise work was being done.
As a result of Alice, I now have a confident, happy and chatty child. I cannot than Alice enough for all the help that she gave to our family and would recommend her to anyone as she is amazing!"
Mum of 5 year old with articulation difficulties.
"L's confidence has grown and his teachers and I were amazed at how clear his speech became in such a short space of time.
We can't thank you enough and it was worth every penny to see L communicating so confidently and clearly with all his family, friends and teachers".
Inclusion and Pastoral Lead, Earls Barton Primary School
We are privileged to have Alice working in partnership with our school. There is a significant impact from the sessions she has with the children, allowing them to make progress rapidly and access the full curriculum. Alice communicates in an open and friendly manner with parents and staff; we have had an abundance of positive comments from the parents of children she has supported. Alice also offers support to the teaching assistants within school who are working with small groups of children or 1:1 with children with communication needs. This enables us to use her knowledge and expertise to support a greater number of children other than those that receive the intensive 1:1 sessions. If written reports are required for an outside assessment (for example Education, Health and Care Plan) these are always well written and delivered in a timely manner, with the child at the heart of the report. I would have no hesitation in recommending Alice to any school.
Mum of 5 year old boy who presented with dysfluency and phonological delay.
A year ago my son D (who is now 5) had difficulty making strangers understand him, he had a noticeable stammer and at times simply ‘couldn’t get his words out’. There were sounds that he couldn’t make,‘s’ and ‘sh’ in particular come to mind. D was starting to lose confidence in himself, often getting upset when he couldn’t express himself. Alice was recommended to us by a friend as someone who could help.
I simply cannot recommend Alice highly enough, she is so calm, so confident and so kind. My son always looked forward to seeing her and my husband and I simply trusted her to help us. D’s stammer has all but gone, he is confident and happy, his speech is clear and he has exceeded all of our wildest expectations.
